Teriberka
In the summer, while living in St. Petersburg, I stumbled upon photos of whales off Teriberka — just a two-hour flight away. I’d long dreamed of going there and this time I didn’t hesitate: booked the tickets, reserved a place, so a few days later found myself beyond the Arctic Circle.
Spontaneous trips like that have never disappointed me, because there are zero expectations.I didn’t see a blue whale, but I captured something far greater: the quiet rhythm of a fishing village, the raw northern nature, and its wild, enduring spirit.
